In un'atmosfera tipicamente anglosassone, con la nebbia che occulta le cime più alte dei colli e la bruma che vela le praterie del fondo valle, Marzo è cominciato con la neve, sinonimo per eccellenza della stagione fredda che sembra quasi, così, volersi congedare, e con uno spettacolo sorprendente qui a Tenuta Geremia non molto consueto, l'arrivo di un gregge di 500 pecore, cui si era aggregata qualche decina di muli, guidati da quattro cani da pastore: due ragazzi partiti dalle montagne del cuneese stanno percorrendo i pascoli situati tra Monferrato, appennino ligure e Langhe per far infine ritorno a casa.
Se è vero che qui scene così non sono oggi più così tanto usuali, è altresì vero che essendo le immagini di animali al pascolo associate perloppiù alla bella stagione, quelle di cui sono stata partecipe oggi sono davvero eccezionali perchè sembrano quasi rappresentare l'incontro tra due stagioni, l'una, l'inverno, che con la neve prende da noi congedo, l'altra, la primavera, che con gli sguardi colmi di infinita dolcezza
e lo scampanellio di pecore ed agnelli liberi per le praterie al pascolo, annuncia il suo approssimarsi ...

espressione di una sorgiva armonia tra l'uomo e la Natura, sono state spesso riprese in preziosi quadri del secolo scorso proprio a tentare di recuperare questo legame quasi primordiale;

foriere del periodo pasquale, quelle pastorali sono scene idilliche, bucoliche, scene che mi hanno oggi indimenticabilmente meravigliata e commossa, lo ammetto, per quanto generosamente la Natura continui ad elargire doni, per chi riesce a coglierli e ad osservarli in riverente rispetto .... ( in queste foto sotto potete notare un piccolo agnello 'adottato' da una coppia di muli, una scena che mi ha realmente toccata !)
Purtroppo noi non abbiamo più un rapporto privilegiato con la Natura, troppo presi dal nostro tempo, spesso fatto di futuro .. solo gli animali sono in grado di mantenerlo, vivono nel presente, un presente fatto ancora di attimi ...
E se fin qui avete letto lo scritto con la musica in sottofondo, vi chiedo ora di fermarla, se ancora non l'aveste fatto, per giovarvi dell'atmosfera e della musicalità di questi attimi rubati alla natura che in questo breve video vi dedico con tanto affetto.
Ma le sorprese di questa meravigliosa giornata non erano per me finite; mi attendeva, al mio rientro, l'assegnazione di un riconoscimento, il primo, preziosissimo award, il Liebster Award 2014 !

1. Perchè hai incominciato a scrivere un blog?
Perchè sentivo forte il bisogno di crearmi uno spazio in cui condividere le mie passioni, un piccolo angolo tutto per me, anzi, per noi !
2. Qual'è il tuo romanzo preferito e perchè?
Non è facile trovare una risposta ... "Orgoglio e Pregiudizio", perchè è molto più di un romanzo, vi trovo affrescata tutta un'epoca in quanto a costumi e cultura, "Se una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore ..." di Italo Calvino, forse la "Recherche" di Proust per il dialogo così intimistico ed il ritmo così cadenzato, "La pietra Lunare" di Landolfi per i toni crepuscolari ... ecco, non riesco a trovare una risposta .. vada per il primo !
3. Quali 3 autori consiglieresti assolutamente?
Pamela Horn, Flora Fraser e Carolly Erickson nei contemporanei.
4. Esiste un libro che sconsiglieresti in assoluto?
Non esiste per me un romanzo da sconsigliare, abbiamo tutti gusti ed aspirazioni differenti, i gusti sono soggettivi ed idiosincratici .. e soprattutto ingiudicabili !
5. Ti piacerebbe scrivere un libro tutto tuo o l'hai già scritto?
E' uno dei sogni nel cassetto che cullo da tempo e che spero tanto un giorno di riuscire a realizzare.
6. Cosa pensi delle autopubblicazioni?
Non ho nulla in contrario ... forse l'avere alle spalle una casa editrice fornisce garanzie e sicurezze, credo.
7. L'intervista che hai amato fare è stata ...
Non ho mai fatto interviste a scrittori.
8. Il genere letterario che non potresti mai scrivere...
Probabilmente quello fantascientifico, a me piace volare con la fantasia, sì, molto, ma nel passato.
9. 3 scrittori che vorresti intervistare e che non hai ancora intervistato...
Pamela Horn, Flora Fraser e Carolly Erickson che nel panorama contemporaneo sono al momento le autrici che più mi affascinano.
10. Sul comodino quali romanzi hai?
Ho da poco riletto per la terza volta "Mrs Dalloway" di Virginia Woolf, adoro le letture in lingua originale, ed ancora non l'ho riposto; "La casa misteriosa lassù nella nebbia" di H.P Lowecraft ultimato dopo poco ed ancora appilato; "L'usignolo e la rosa" di Oscar Wilde, lì ancora dalle vacanze natalizie; nuovo, cominciato da pochissimi giorni, un romanzo suggerito da un'amica, Laura, "Le lettere segret di Jo" di Gabrielle Donnelly, mi piace molto, più leggo e più sono invogliata a proseguire .. Piccole Donne, che gli fa da 'leit motiv' è stato in assoluto il primo romanzo che ho letto e quello che da subito mi ha ammaliata !!

In a typically Anglo-Saxon atmosphere, with the fog that hides the highest peaks of the hills and the mist that veils the grasslands of the valley, March has begun with the snow that's synonymous with excellence of the cold season that seems, in this way, wanting to dismiss, and with an amazing show here in Tenuta Geremia not very usual, the arrival of a flock of 500 sheep, to which were aggregated a few dozen mules, led by four herding dogs: two boys departed from the mountains of Cuneo are walking through the pastures located among Monferrato Ligurian Apennines and Langhe to finally return home.

Given that such scenes are here today not so usual and given that being the images of animals grazing the most part associated with the beautiful season, those of which I was a participant today are truly exceptional because seem almost to represent the encounter between two seasons, one, the Winter, that takes us leave with snow, the other, the Spring, with the gazes full of infinite sweetness

expression of a spring harmony between man and Nature, have been frequently applied in precious paintings of the last century just to try to recover this almost primordial bond;

harbingers of the Easter period, the pastoral scenes are idyllic, bucolic, scenes that have today deeply amazed and touched me, I admit, for how much Nature continues generously to donate gifts for those of us who are unable to catch them and to observe them in silent reverence .... (in these pictures below you can see a little lamb 'adopted' by a pair of mules, a scene that really moved me!)

Unfortunately we have no more a privileged relationship with the Nature, too caught up in our own time, often looking at the future .. just animals are able to maintain it, they're still living in the present, a present still made of moments ...
And if you've read this script with the music in the background, I ask you now to stop it, if you hadn't done it yet, to benefit the atmosphere and the musicality of these moments stolen to the Nature that in this short video I dedicate to you with much love.

1 . Why did you start writing a blog ?
Because I felt a strong need to create a space where sharing my passions, a little corner all to myself, indeed, all for us!
2 . What is your favorite novel and why ?
It's not easy to find an answer ... "Pride and Prejudice" , because it's much more than a novel, I find in it a frescoes of a whole era in terms of culture and customs, "If a winter's night a traveler ..." by Italo Calvino , perhaps the " Recherche" by Proust for the dialogues so intimate and proceeding with so lilting rhythm , "The Stone Moon " by Landolfi for the 'crepuscular' tones ... well, I really cannot not find an answer .. go for the first !
3 . Three authors that you would absolutely recommend.
Pamela Horn, Flora Fraser and Carolly Erickson among the contemporaries.
4 . There is a book that you advise against ?
In my opinion there's no book to advise against, we all have different tastes and aspirations, tastes are subjective and idiosyncratic .. and especially you cannot judge them !
5 . Would you like to write a book of your own or have you already written it ?
That's one of the dreams that I lull for some time and I really hope one day to be able to accomplish.
6 . What do you think about self - publishing ?
I have nothing against it ... maybe having a publisher gives more warranties and assurances, I suppouse.
7 . The interview that you loved to do was ...
I've never done interviews with writers.
8 . The literary genre that you could never write ...
Probably the science fiction, I like to fly with the fantasy , yes , very much, but in the past.
9 . Three writers that you'd like to interview and that you haven't interviewed yet ...
Pamela Horn, Flora Fraser and Carolly Erickson that in the contemporary scene are the authors at the time that most fascinate me.
10 . On the bedside table which novels do you have?
I've recently re-read for the third time " Mrs. Dalloway " by Virginia Woolf, I love reading in the original language, and I haven't put it yet , "The mysterious house up there in the mist" by HP Lowecraft completed shortly after and still on the stack ; " The nightingale and the rose "by Oscar Wilde, still there from Christmas time, and, begun a few days ago , a novel suggested by a friend , Laura , "The Jo's secrets letters" by Gabrielle Donnelly, I like it a lot, more I read and more I desire to continue .. Little Women, which makes it as ' leitmotif ' was the very first novel I've read and with which I fell in love !
