Scherzi a parte anche qui oggi il termometro è salito di poco sopra lo zero anche durante le ore più calde del giorno e da metà pomeriggio la colonnina è scesa sotto ... il cielo sembra uno specchio, ma forse è proprio questo il motivo del freddo così secco.

Yes, we're keeping 'cozy and comfy' for a Winter Sunday spent working inside our home, we have so many little things to do and outside today is very cold, without the sun the temperature doesn't rise, alas ... poor my little bunnies and squirrels ... all my wild birds have always to eat, as you've seen in my video, but who lives in the woods I think that during such frosty days is spending his time sleeping, indeed, I hope it !

Ho sentito alla TV che il centro della penisola è da giorni stretto nella morsa del gelo, anche qui le temperature sono scese, ma non così tanto ... qui è stato particolarmente freddo ieri mattina, ma poi il sole ha riscaldato l'aria, anche se all'ombra non siamo saliti oltre lo zero ... il fatto è che senza vento il freddo secco lo si avverte molto meno e lo si sopporta decisamente meglio, sul mare è tremendo anche a temperature più alte !
Ti ringrazio e ti abbraccio con tanto affetto augurandoti una serata all'insegna del calore famigliare e della serenità, con tutto il cuore ♡❤♡

If only we could enjoy the beauty of snow with much warmer weather! ;) we had several snowstorms in December, a little snow this month. Last year we didn't have any snow all winter so I've been looking forward to some. I do love a winter wonderland! I loved your video, what a flurry of activity at the bird feeder! Oh Dany these are absolutely Gorgeous pictures of your winter, I love the frozen ice on them, my husband would be so jealous he is trying to get pictures like that :) The one with the lady in a dress is that you? That is just beautiful the way the layering and pleating. Your bird video is so neat, I love watching birds, and it looks like yours is nestled right in the trees I bet they love that, ours is in the middle of our yard so they have a ways to go to get back to their trees so we see them flying back and forth.

I also wonder how so little birds cannot die when flying during such cold and icy days ... as for where they go and keep warm themselves, I may assure you that each of them has its own place, or amongst the stones of the walls of our home ( they're almost 1 m. thick outside ) or on the beam above the door of the cellar where we have the wood boiler or even inside the cellar, from which they come out in the morning when we open the door for the first time to feed the boiler ... they're such lovely creatures, aren't they ?

When you see so many birds all at once it means that it's very cold and that they're filling their stomach with the greatest amount of food they can for not to come back until the snow ends to fall, or at least until the next day !

You pictures are gorgeous! I'd love to travel to an area with ice and snow one day. I don't know if I could handle it though. I cried when I went to Tennessee a few years ago when I was in my early 20s. Ok, it was like 10 years ago lol. Your photos make me want to try to visit a cold area again! The period dress is gorgeous. I've done a lot of antebellum plays and such (when I was younger), and I would love to try an even older costume. Just beautiful!

EliminaDear, this year we had such a little snow, and it's not good for us and for all the Nature surrounding us, from gardens - their flowers and their trees are suffering Spring temperatures, to woods, to our river the water of which is less more and more... let's hope that the snow won't come in March or April, as it happens sometims, it woyuld damage all the flowers of the fruit trees and we would have no fruit all the Summer and Fall long...
